Delicious Success

As I predicted, not all of my weekend plans would come to pass. I realized that it would be nearly impossible to BBQ my ribs on Sunday and do beer on Saturday since there was plenty of prep that still had to happen on Saturday. Primarily, I had to trim down the ribs which required time and space that wouldn’t have been available if I were brewing. Beer & Beef

There is a lot on tap this weekend and I’m not entirely convinced I’m going to successfully pull it off. I still plan to brew beer tomorrow as a redo for a beer that I tried to brew a few months ago and totally forgot the hops. I also plan to do beef ribs on Sunday (assuming we can acquire some). I’m more optimistic about the beef ribs than I am about the beer as the ribs require far less of my attention and Melanie has to go into the hospital. I may push the beer off to next Saturday …

Food Reset

I love food. Good food. Living in New Orleans I can get access to any amount of great food and not just the typical Cajun and Creole cuisine that people think of when they think of this city. We have incredible pizza, Vietnamese, Mediterranean, and the list goes on. And on top of that Melanie and I love to cook as a way to spend time together and as something we just enjoy.
